    • Structerra is a boutique custom home building company with a team of dedicated professionals and skilled craftsmen working together towards building the best homes (not the most houses).

      Heading up the team is Principal, Brian Rickauer, who brings with him a lifelong passion for design and construction. With experience in all phases of construction, architecture and design, as well as project management, Brian is able to effectively take projects from concept through completion. He is hands-on in the managing of every project, on site every day, and has a supportive team of men and women who like doing things the right way!

    • Brian grew up in the mountain town of Frisco, Colorado, where he had the opportunity to work his way through virtually every trade in the construction industry. Outside of his work, Brian was, and remains, an avid rower, biker, skier, and just about anything else that moves him. He was able to pursue all of these interests during his years at Middlebury College, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Political Science and Architecture.

      Following, Brian worked as a project manager for a contracting and development company in the mountain resort areas of Summit County and the Vail Valley. After years in Colorado, Brian moved east to focus on the construction and operations management of a development interest, specializing in the construction of Georgian and Shingle style estate homes in the neighborhoods of Greenwich and Westport (CT).

      Over a decade ago, Brian brought his passion to Tahoe and has been living his dream ever since; building with integrity and meaning, surrounding himself with capable professionals and a loving family.

  • Structerra provides expert contracting and project management services in the greater Tahoe area, from Martis Camp, Lahontan, and Truckee, into Squaw Valley and throughout the Tahoe basin.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION PLANNING

Our goal is to connect with the design intent and provide advice as it relates to budgeting, scheduling, and quality. We'll always include limitless pre-construction design-budget consultations, thorough project estimating, calculated sub-contractor selection, and comprehensive contract and insurance administration.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Project management services include daily coordination of all construction activities and scheduling, proper implementation of design intent, development of architectural details and interiors, research and presentation of product and material options, regular budget updates and progress reports.

POST CONSTRUCTION

At Structerra, we stand behind all our projects and provide homeowners with continuing service, well beyond the warranty period. We strive to leave our clients happy and work to provide them with a home that embraces their vision. We appreciate the relationship and know that each good one leads to many more.
